Women Shaping Intelligence
01
Founders
Four paths, one shared vision of economic intelligence.
WISI was founded by four practitioners whose complementary expertise spans economic intelligence, forensic investigation, legal intelligence and public policy, across France and Africa.

01
Laurène Montalbano
Communications project officer · ETIncelles · DGE
Laurène Montalbano is a communications project officer for the ETIncelles programme at France's Direction générale des Entreprises (DGE), supporting a government initiative that helps high-growth SMEs scale into mid-sized enterprises (ETIs). An EGE Master 1 graduate, she coordinated the AEGE Africa Club in 2019-2020 and published economic intelligence analyses on Sino-African relations and data sovereignty. Her expertise spans strategic monitoring, African geopolitics and institutional communication on enterprise policy.

02
Louise Vernhes

A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), she combines field expertise, strategic analysis and monitoring of fraud and compliance dynamics in the age of AI.

03
Karima Alami
Consultant · Strategy & competitive intelligence
Karima Alami is a strategy and competitive intelligence consultant. For over seven years, she has advised companies, public institutions and international organisations on understanding their operating environments, anticipating major shifts and defining strategic priorities.
Her work spans competitive intelligence, foresight, international development, investment and transformation, with a particular focus on the economic and institutional dynamics shaping the African continent. Her experience includes influence strategies in Africa, international business development, territorial intelligence, investment attractiveness, and strategic advisory work for public and institutional stakeholders.
Working at the intersection of Africa and Europe, she is particularly interested in building strategic partnerships that align economic interests and investment with the development of sustainable capabilities across Africa. Her work explores how investment can support the transformation of African economies, strengthen local value chains and reinforce economic sovereignty, while fostering more balanced and enduring relationships with European partners.
A graduate of the Economic Warfare School of Paris and the National School of Business and Management of Tangier, Karima currently focuses on Africa–Europe dynamics, strategic investment, economic diplomacy and economic sovereignty in Africa.
At WISI, she contributes to these discussions and works to build bridges between expertise, stakeholders and geographies, with a particular focus on emerging models of economic co-operation between Africa and Europe.

04
Capucine Viviani
Legal Operations Officer · TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping
Capucine Viviani is a Legal Operations Officer at TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping, where she leads projects at the intersection of law, competitive intelligence and artificial intelligence.
Her work is driven by a clear conviction: law has become a strategic intelligence issue in its own right. High-profile international cases such as Alstom have shown how legal frameworks, regulation and contractual mechanisms can be used as tools of influence, competitiveness and economic sovereignty.
Against this backdrop, legal functions have an increasingly important role to play in anticipating risk, protecting intangible assets and informing strategic decision-making.
Capucine is particularly interested in the emergence of legal intelligence · the strategic use of legal and contractual data, enhanced by artificial intelligence.
With a background in law, competitive intelligence and innovation management, she leads transformation projects aimed at turning contracts into genuine knowledge assets and practical tools for strategic steering.
At WISI, she contributes to discussions on legal intelligence, economic sovereignty and the role of women in the emerging fields of strategic intelligence.
